Carrying on a Legacy
Nestled in the heart of Lake St. Louis, just off Lake St. Louis Blvd. and North Henke Road, and backing up to Fox Trail, Legacy Stables at Lake St. Louis is a hidden gem with unmatched convenience. Spanning 8.5 acres, our property features two outdoor riding arenas, a spacious indoor arena with newly updated lighting, ample pastures for turnout, and 35 spacious stalls—some with private runouts.
With staff on-site 24/7, our equine friends receive round-the-clock care, ensuring their health, safety, and comfort at all times.
The Stables have been a cornerstone of Lake St. Louis, predating much of the housing development in the area. We take great pride in preserving the legacy of this beautiful property, which has been cherished for generations.
Facility Improvements
We’ve recently upgraded our indoor arena with new high-efficiency LED lighting to create a brighter, more consistent, and rider-friendly environment year-round.
Updated Lighting
Our arena features a laser-leveled base topped with high-quality sand footing, designed for consistency, stability, and performance. The precision-leveled foundation promotes proper drainage and an even riding surface, while the carefully selected sand provides ideal cushion and support for your horse’s joints. This combination creates secure traction, reduced concussion, and dependable footing for lessons, training, and daily riding.

Our facility utilizes a designated manure management system to maintain a clean, healthy, and well-organized barn environment. Unlike unmanaged manure piles that can become unsightly and contribute to increased fly activity around the barn, our process is designed for efficiency and sanitation.
During daily mucking, stall waste is placed directly into our designated manure collection area. From there, it is promptly loaded and removed from the property on a regular schedule. This system helps reduce odors, limit flies, and maintain a more pleasant and hygienic atmosphere for both horses and riders.
